Understanding Ava
The Ava entity: persona, knowledge, boundaries, modes and languages.
Ava is not a chatbot with a company logo but a brand-trained persona. She consists of four building blocks you fully control.
Persona
Name, role, tone and attitude. The persona determines how Ava sounds — factual, warm, technical — and how she introduces herself.
Knowledge
Approved content from your website, documents and manual entries. Ava answers from this knowledge, not from guesswork. Anything not approved does not exist in the conversation.
Boundaries
- Topics Ava declines (e.g. price negotiation, legal advice).
- Behaviour when unsure: Ava says when she does not know and offers the next step.
- AI transparency: Ava identifies herself as AI at the start.
Modes
| Mode | Use case | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Video | Booth, showroom, reception | Visible counterpart, highest attention |
| Audio | Noisy environments, mobile, telephony | Fastest start, lowest barrier |
| Chat | Landing page, follow-up, support | Asynchronous and easy to log |
All three modes use the same knowledge and write into the same conversation record. There are no separate data silos.
Languages
Ava detects the visitor's language and replies in it. Landing pages and the backend are bilingual (German, English); further interface languages can be added.
